跑吧！ 燕燕 ！
The marathons has always gave me a huge sense of achievement especially when i first participated in it few years ago.
It really shows that as long as you have made the preparation, you will perform accordingly.

Being able to see that we are able to push ourselves a little further despite the fatigue just shows that we can do it and indeed the sense of achievement after completion in immediate.
Certainly, this sense of achievement is something that we dont really get nowadays. For example, studying for exams, doing the exams and we have to wait for weeks before the results is out. The sense of achievement will not be there even if we score well.

I must admit the sense of achievement i got during my past runs these couple of years were not as great, simply cos i knew i can do much better and i have yet to push myself more.

Nonetheless, this year's half marathon was different.
IT seems my sense of achievement doubled as i not only pushed myself to my acceptable limit but also yan yan had a good run as well!

To think i was so worried abt her feeling hot, hungry, tired, thirsty, low in energy, worried about her losing the champion chip etc.

IT turned out these were uncalled for as she completed the run easily! I'm sure her timing is much faster than more than half of the people particpating the run. Once again, she never failed to amaze me. Perhaps she already registered for the 42km run this dec and will want to surprise me in completing the race....
Or perhaps she is already eyeing on the 84km sun down marathon next year and want to overtake me.

I'm sure she is proud of herself to be able to complete that distance.
I myself was so proud of her and just couldnt help it but to annouce to everyone how good she is. haha!
