One last time
When everyone was all excited about the ministerial forum (which is happening right now) , queueing up at the enterance for security checks and stuff, I had an agenda of my own.

The army people came down to ntu today for operation. And i knew that today will be the last time to have the chance to see familar faces from the team that is coming. I just had to go down to meet them.

Thing with everyone (i hope) is that whenever they leave an organisation, it feels as if time has stopped as their memory of the place remains as it was, no matter how long time has passed. And since everything has always been smooth going for me, i will hope that nothing changes.

True enough, I knew the entire team that came down today with the addition of the new comers who were there learning how things are done. It feels as if nothing has changed since the last time i left. I rmb the last time i had my duty was with george, benn and alex at nanyang poly a yr ago. Now is george benn and gu... Because of that, I was so close in telling benn (my understudy) what to do, despite the fact that he has been thru more operations than me by now.

What made me so emotional actually was that George and gu, to me, represent 2 people that i will no longer be meeting in my life. One of them made me cried (after a period of 10 yrs) and the other was the one who seen me cried and i cried onto.

How my understudy feels with me around, I believe, is exactly the same way how i feel when my upper study was with me. And i dont blame him, never did.

It made my day to see everyone still doing fine. I'm delighted to be able to see them again one last time, before everyone leaves, and everything changes. Hence, given a chance i will not want to meet them again anymore....
To me they will be ghosts, to them i'm just a passing wind....

Anyway, before i really forget, i met my grand understudy, his name is tan jian shin (think its spelled liddat). A regular! lets hope he knows what he is doing and will enjoy himself.

Physics quiz tml! wish me luck!
