2103 outing x house warming ??
I immediately started uploading the photos and started bloggin as soon as i reached back to my hall...
It all started when i finally sat beside guanghong for the first time during our lecture today when he mentioned seeing the 2103 guys the day before. IT was then an idea came to me and i started msging ajc 2103 people to have an outing plus hall house warming at his place!
Wat was surprising was that all of the people in our group live in hall and were able to make it tonight! the last time all of us actually meet up together was during some shopping trip 2 yrs ago (refer to old blog freedom). Other then that it was mostly alan and me... guang hong and me...
Its amazing how people from my first 3 months class were still so close till now. And it seemed that they never change during the past 4 yrs. We startred playing bridge, something we last done so like 4 yrs ago!
WE really warmed gh's bed....
Next we visited yinyong's room and hock chye's room. And gossiped about people we knew of... haha... yes and that includes U !
I'm glad then turn up for my last min 2103 mini outing.... hope to see more of my 2103 friends ( especially those in my fan club) to join us next time!

5423 Live Dangerously with me
(Content in bold are fictional stuff which was added to increase viewership)
Today was the AHM. Got up at 4am and drove to fetch weicai and quickly head to the starting point. We didn't expect SO MANY roads to be condored off. And we took 45 mins to find the exit that can lead us to the start point.
While performing a sharp turn at high speed of 140km/h and looking around for exits. A car suddenly appeared just 2 m infront. Lightning fast reflexes of me saved the day as i jamed the brakes causing the car to skid 2 m....
Just when we thought we could get off without a scratch and immediately speed off, a giant turtle crawled out from the kerb causing the car to flip. Since the momentum of the car is great, the car skidded on its top for around 20 meters before stopping. Weicai and i quickly crawled out through the window just before the car burst into flames!
We quickly made our way to the starting point. Unfortunately we are not in time for the actual 530am flag off time. Hence we decided to run at 545 with the non-competitive people aka army people. So by any chance we might bump into them along the way ( since we will definately overtake all of them)! And so we did.
While running, i saw my greatest fan edwin cheng from across the road! He was with a pioneer, xiao yang, (i think... is that his name? ed correct me if im wrong.. or zheng yang?). Just when i approached him, there was a sudden lightning flash and struck the branches of the tress above. Both yang and edwin were squashed. Not wanting them to slow me down. I pretended not to know them and continued running.
Everything was the usual run until i reached the east coast point peeing point. You know, the drain upon entering ecp where people start peeing opening? yah.... Orignially i was rather disgusted with that, that was just so uncultured. But then again, the organisers shld have placed more cubicles for the runners. Else it will definitely be a AHM culture. Anyway, apparantly there was a lady running in cheongsam who seemed no to like the sight, sneak up at the back of the peeing men and pushed them across the fence and into the drain.
I really enjoyed running along the beach. The sea started to glitter. And around the turning point i saw quiet a few pioneers as well! Zhuo yu and wee liat, they were running together... Wee kiong was not far behind. Singal storeman jeremy was there (but false memory denied me from recalling where exactly i saw him). While enjoying the beautiful sight of the sea. There was a loud crack of cannon and a pirate ship appeared!
"welcome to singapore!," one of the crew announced to his fellow mates.
They started a slashing people they caught sight off. Everyone was sreaming in pain and started pushing one another at the narrow lane. I ran as fast as i can for my life! Since when u see pirates running fast?
Dont feel much upon completing the race. Didnt improve since last yr, but at least i didnt deprove... ...
The bag collection was the exact time i took for my marathon.... I should have gone to chit chat with the people before collecting my bags. While i was sitting down on the floor queuing up. The sewage cover opened and 4 ninjas came out and offer me a pizza. These people stink! And i almost fainted a few times if not of my strong will power. (but that doesnt deter me from sleeping)
Sickening EDWIN was no where to be found when weicai and i collected out bags and wanted to join him for lunch. IT was then an owl flew to me an delivered a ransom letter saying that EDWIN was kidnapped!
'Oh no!,' the kind hearted I exclaimed, holding the letter in despair,' What should we do?"
"hack care! Lunch is more impt!," The mean grouchy weicai snapped, tearing the letter into streads,'Lets go get lunch buffet."
Since the address of the ransom location is no more, i gave up on him and went to the buffet lunch.
Wei jie, my ntu friend, joined us for lunch as well! (have i mentioned that it is his birthday as well same as wee keat? but since we 'celebrated' his birthday last friday so i dont think its impt to do so again ba.. later he obligated to treat us buffet)
And so we sat at the joquiam resturant at suntec.
We all started eating.
"what is this?,"weijie pointed out, putting his spoon down,' It tastes different'
"Its horrible!" I shrilled, banging on the table.
"ITs poision,"The chef came out from the kitchen and let out a sinister laugh," Bwahaha!"
"Lets get out of here before the poison take effect!"Weicai suggested to us, taking his bag.
Nonetheless, the chef started thrusting his knives at us. Quick witted weijie flipped over the table and used it as a shield to block us from the knives. We ran out of the restuarant following weijie's lead. We bearly stayed there for an hr. Having the sense of betrayal of us bringing him to such a restuarant, weijie went back home. Fortunately, an strong old woman with a scar on her left cheek found us and gave us the antidote. Its in the form of a burger king hersey pie. Yum yum...
It was then i realised during the mist of confusion, my hp screen got scratched. Weicai brought me to a hp shop to add a screen protection film for $24.... yah... for a plastic sheet of the size of a hp screen... Arg...
The last stop for today was the trip to the interchange to make my student ez link card.
(have i mentioned that it will be my 5th trip truying to make a ez link card?)
"I need a photo," the lady said.
"i thought there is one in the data base?"
"oh yes! SO u want to use this?"
I hesitated, knowing how badly taken the one in the database was. I search my wallet for any other pictures. The most decent one was the nirc one which is black and white. Then followed by the army one.... It was after a while that i realised of the one i had for my driving license.
"i took this one after i pass my test, so very happy"
The lady look at my photo and was stunt!
"you are the one from my dreams!," she looked up and stared directly at me for the first time," you are my prince charming...."
" okok! u do my ez link card first, i'll go out with u later," i replied.
She started doing my card at a lightning fast speed. And i finally got my ez link card!

one night sit
Our hall event, one night stand, literatelly involves us to stand for the first half but we get to sit for the 2nd half.
Seriously, this event is something i have been looking forward to after my sickness from hell. Cos during that period, i wanted to eat EVERYTHING and enjoy myself. Moreover, workload is accumulating...
input + generation = Output + consumption + ACCUMULATION
Went to iceskating and stood around there for 2 hrs.
And went geylang for supper.
Have i mentioned how much i am attracted to girls who ice skate? i bet i already have....
Then i accidently collided onto the same girl twice....
Food was fabulous.... but we were only give 2 hrs to eat. How much can one eat in just 2 hrs? Shld have given us 3 hrs at least mah... then we will have time to eat our durians... Choon yan and i were super dissappointed lor. We were looking forward to durians and were talking abt it excitedly the day before.

Deja vu and all over again....again
Yah... And soon after my previous post, i started rushing to the toilet at 11pm, 1am, 3am 5am 6 am and 8 am.
I've messed up the toilet with my vomit and choke up one of the sink as well.
I know that the toilet auntie will curse and swear if she seen the mess. Hence, i appologised to her when i met her on my way to see the doctor at 8am.
But hey! that's the good thing about using common toilet!
There is someone cleaning the toilet and you dont need to clean it yourself!
During my delirious state, I was moarning while sleeping. So loud that i woke myself up from time to time. Can rmb on of the sentence i slept-talked/sleeptalked/slept talk (watever is correct) was,'I'm very thristy, i want to have a drink..."
Surprisingly, kelvin ang was in a deep sleep that he didnt realise me talking nor rushing out of the toilet from time to time...
Either its the month of july or i was really too sick and dreamy that during one of my toilet trips in the middle of the night, i vaguely rmb seeing someone who is not supposed to be in this world.
Seriously, if he was out there to haunt me, I'm just too sick to entertain him. Too bad that you came at the wrong timing, better luck next time...

Deja vu and all over again....
K...k.. i dont suppose this is the first time this is happening. But the feeling of diarrhea and vomiting is coming back.
The last time i had this, i had yiguang and sheng xiang with me.
Now i only have my roomy kelvin ang and neighbours..
Think that the feeling will take its toll after awhile.
Hence i'm now trying to fight off this.....
Hopefully...
If i can get through this night, it will be ok. Else i'll be super sick for the next two days.

(this leads me to the story of Luinshision which im planning to write very soon)
That goes the same for horoscope. We dont need a piece of readings from the newspaper to know what to expect for today, or to see how are we supposed to behave or how we are compatitble with others....
Nonetheless, Alice teo once told me that there are basis on such horoscope things. That made me wonder at times...
Looking at my friends list. I realised that there are quite alot of people i dont feel comfortable with who are born during feb to april...
Where as im very close with people who are born during june, july, august, november and december...

I just realised a few today.
I've got to know a friend from my orientation group. His name is Weijie. And those who knew my friend wee keat (whom i always mention), whose name in chinese is also weijie.
Both just so happen to have the same birthday, August 26th. Well... will be busy running half marathon then. Unless he invited me out personally for something. I will NOT be bothered to sent him any greetings... ...
Jieying and Guiling shared the same birthday as well. Nonetheless, these two girls are worlds apart.
During the paddles at marina bay today, i got to know a lady named, Edwina Cheng... and i notice some similarities between her and my number one fan,EDWIN CHENG. Especially with the spectacles and stuff....even the tone of their voices... oh my...Are they biologically related???
If i had my phone with me, i would have taken a picture of her!!!

Moverover, though it has been a month since the first camp, i've yet to receive the photos from them!
Npcc has always been wellknown for our fast and efficient way of doing things. This is of no exception.

Cover Guy!
IT was initially started of as a joke that i told people that i wanted to be the cover guy for next year's marathon....
Then i started to look into this year's cover guy....
number 4191. He actually ran 5 mins faster than me during the run last yr.
'Hence, if i run 5 mins faster i might become this yr's cover guy!!' I crapped.
I just couldnt resist, so i looked into last yr's cover guy...
number 6448.
hmm.. i vaguely rmb i purposely put on such a pose last yr when i ran. How come they didnt choose me? i wonder why...
I continued looking into the previous year's cover guys and realised a pattern...
1) They normally alternate between a guy and a girl year after year.
There goes my chance of being next year's cover guy. But still theres hope of me being in the couple photo (for 2004). Meaning, when i completed my run, i must stand beside a girl and do some special pose with her and make sure the photographer took the photo.
2) It appears to be the case that all are wearing addidas singlet which were not given by the marathon (the blue and green one).. White in particular..
Therefore, that will mean that i'll have to go get a white addidas singlet to increase my chance of being spotted!
3) they were all not wearing any arm wallet! maybe cos with no earpiece sticking out from the wallet into their years, it made them look more professional?
Oh my, ill have to forgo listening to music while running? Sheesh!
4) Apparantly, the tag number for the past 3 yrs have TWO digits that are the same.
notice 2123 got two 2s, 6448 got two 4s , 4191 got two 1s.
Lets hope i'll get some auspicious number this yr!

First week of offical uni life
Seriously, this is nothing to be proud of.
If he hears this, i know he will definitely jump out from his tomb, point at me and laugh.
Making fun of me on my big talks of being determined and stuff...
For all the past lectures, i've been sleeping throughout.
Been finding excuses such as the post-hall camp syndrome, too many commitments. (eventhough im seriously very tired to concentrate)
Then keep on comforting myself by saying,'i sleep, i dont understand; you didnt sleep also dont understand! might as well sleep lor!'
Shame on me... but for some reasons i find it really hard to concentrate during the main term than the special term. Too many source of distractions.... (excuses??)
Some of the friends i've met in uni has moved onto the badminton stage!
To those who know me well, i only invite close friends of mine to go play badminton. (and its because of badminton that we became close friends)
They include qian qian (and roomie, ester), kaijie (and roomie vincent), elaine and soon yan who are each other's roomie. Most of them i barely known them for 2 weeks! Its a pity that my roomie isnt that sporty type, else i will have bring him down as well!
I will catch up on the lessons slept this weekend and will NOT sleep in class EVER !!. (oh my.. who am i kidding)

impression management
First impression counts.
And whether you can maintain this first impression counts EVEN MORE.
My roomie, it seems, has screwed up trying to make a good impression infront of everyone else during the hall camp. It made him looks as if he was acting during the inital stage....
I've given up trying to say good words about him to the rest, as it would seems like im trying to dig out all the good points of him.
It pays off to be fit! you doesnt know when u are being relied on to support others. Even if we dont support, at least we dont drag others down....

The month of july, for me, has alwas been the month of being willful, spending extravagantly, decision making, a month of intensive learning and a month of changes
