It takes one to know one
I felt miserable for the thing I did yesterday. Miserable not because I regreted and definitly not because I wronged him. Just that it is not my nature to solve things this way and it was uneasy for me to do so.
And so, I am not ashame to share with everyone what i had written, and i hope YOU will never treat your group like this when you are doing the project:
"Dear Dr XX,
This is Tan Tengda from your HW210 class, C22 group blue-tec.
I am sad and regret to be the one informing you of our group problem regarding one of our group member, YY.
The rest of the group member felt morally obligated to bring this up to you for it is just irresponsible for us not to.
Our group dynamics may not be the as good as the others since we do not know each other before hand. However, most of us tried our best to put in the required effort for the project.
Yet, we felt that YY did not put in the necessary contributions for the project and feel that this problem should be addressed.
Firstly, during the start of the project while doing the information sourcing and literature review. It was evident that YY did not contribute any information. Initially, we felt that it was just the beginning and hence overlooked this issue.
Subsequently, during discussion. We felt that he was not following in our conversation much and was not really attentive to the ideas mentioned.
This was evident when he was assigned to edit chapter 1 (introduction- purpose) of our report as we were out of track. Despite it was just a short paragraph regarding our project's purpose, the ideas he edited were not what was discussed. Eventually had to be re edited.
Our group felt that this incident may be due to his poor understanding and usage of english language. Thus, attempted to assign him to do up some of the visuals we need for chapter 3. Unfortunately, this had not been done so as well.
During this period while working together, he did not display any initiative and was not proactive in our discussion. There was totally no insightful input from him other than occasional saying out some trival ideas we had already discussed before. And if I am not wrong, he is the only student who does not have any 'stars' from your class. ( teacher gives stars for student who activitly answers her questions) Such attitude towards education and doing project is seriously not acceptable.
The above cases can be attributed to his personality as well as incapability of working in groups. Indeed, as members from his group, we were more than willing to guide him along or even to cover up for him. Nevertheless, what hurts us most was when we found out that he lied to us about his absence from group meetings.
A message was received from YY saying that he was outside and was unable to attend to the meeting. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, we assumed he had personal matters to attend hence did not question him. Fortunately or unfortunately, he was spotted by follow group member, ZZ who arrived late due to the rain, in school's canteen.
We were totally hurt by his actions and were even wondering if the reasons his absence from previous meetings were even true.
As this is the first time we encounter such situation and it was really uneasy for us to bring this up to you. Hence, we really wanted some advise regarding this matter.
Once again, I really appreciate your advise regarding this trvial issue of ours and thank you for looking into this matter.
Thank you.
Regards,
Tan Tengda
CBE Yr 1"-------------------------I unexpectedly met Darmen at 12 noon today. My emotion wasnt that good due to this incident. He himself wasnt having a good day either. Nonetheless, he was willing to hear my side of the story.
"I used to be very self consious,"he begain to say,"Everytime people sees me not in a way i wanted, I would be very worried and try to change their perception of me. But later I came to realise that I cant be friends with everybody, there are bound to be enemies. There is no way you can totally change this. You did everything you can within your power to solve this, but this is something you have to do to put things right. Hence you should not be sorry for what you had done."
And this is really the words i want to hear. Someone to affirm my decisions. Not that i am swayed easily by anyone, but sometimes it is just the support that is needed to know that our method to fight for the greater good is the right one.
"Idea is the thing that shapes a person, not his culture or background. There is always a choice and no one can be forced to do anything."-- poorly adapted from darmen. Cant remember the exact phrasing.. hmm..

Hp803: ARe you ok?
Notice i Never blog anything regarding my course modules.. All these while I've only blog about my electives of literature, psychology etc.
This is for the simple reason that I dont think my fans are interested how change in U is equal to Q plus W or when it is reversible adiabatic, enthalpy equal to zero. I guess you get the picture..
Well, Lab can be interesting you know.
AFter sunday's kayaking expedition, we had lab session to start of the week. Fuel combustion was the experiment.
Using the Fireboy (a burner), to combust propane and to collect whatever left over in the air using an injection and sent for analysis.
It was then the intructor came to me and asked me,"Are you ok?"
I looked at her
"Yah....?"nodding my head, pulling out the injection from the analyiser.
"no.. i mean are you ok, physically,"She made a weak attempt to rephrase.
"ERm...,"I replied thinking through a second, looking at my other friends,"yes i'm ok.."
"you ok or not? how come your face so red,"she said at last, in a very concerned tone, refering to my sunburned face which i had after a day of kayaking at sea,"you got burn by the burner issit?"
My friends beside laught as they knew where I went the day before.
"oh! ok lah. Just now i stood too close to the flame,"I played along with the instructor,"Very hot but still alright."
At this stage, everyone was laughing to the extent the instructor herself knew her concern was uncalled for. She started laughing as well.
-------------------------------------
Today while waiting for the shuttle bus to come, we heard a loud crashing sound at the carpark across the 2 lane road. Looking up, we saw a black car which had collided onto a parked car while it was doing its reversing. The driver immidately drove off and he mounted the kerb as he was getting away hurriedly.
We immediately rmbed the car plate number. While i tried to use my phone to take the scene but only had time to pretend that i was taking video of him.
Not knowing the extent of the damaged caused, i ran across the street to have a look.
"oh my!," I thought, as the entire front of the car was gone
"I'm writing a note to the car owner,"i told my group as i was walked back.
Mag remembered the carplate vividly and recited it out...
Weijie cried out the car model
Sinyee was like"Har? what happened...."
Joel.....
"Black car S__ XXXX _ was spotted colliding onto your car while doing reverse
Alfred
XXXXXXX"
I scribbled quickly, fearing the shuttle bus will come any moment. And ran to the car and placed the note on the windscreen.
"Lets hope the owner make a police report and that irresponsible driver will get caught!" I told sinyee and joked" Sekali the owner is our lecturer and will reward us by given high grades!"
With that i spent the rest of the day waiting for the owner to contact me.
I was contacted. Nonetheless, it was the driver who did so.
Apparently, after 4 hrs, he came back to the scene of crime and found my note for the owner.
"Don't worry,"he said, twisting he tone around, evidently he is an indian,"I came back and wrote a note to the owner to admit my wrong...... ."
I froze.
It is was other time, i might think even clearly. I was having thermodynamics lecture, hence another mode of thinking.
I trusted him and put down the phone.
Certainly, he saw me "taking" video using my handphone and we are the witness
That is why he came back knowing that we had evidence.
But can it be he knew i must have left a note down there and came back to destroy it?
If so, why did he call me up?
Does he think that i will upload the video if the owner didnt contact me?
Haiz, sometimes its just too troublesome to have so many moral obligations.
(ps joel, the wet blanket, was indifferent during the entire incident. Cmi...)

Nian
It was a time of ancient custom, tribes and warlords. From the direction of the rising sun were people doesn't know the days and years, in a place long before what is now called China. There was a hideous beast rumpage through villages, the fields and huts.
It sprints on its fours at the speed of light, its roar was deafening, on top of its head was two horns that were stained with blood, but nothing compared to its teeth, still bearing the remains of its previous victim. And especially likes to eat little children who likes reading other people's blog like YOU!! The beast was commonly known by the people as NIAN.
IT was some time later when they discovered that the NIAN has weakness. It is afraid of bright colours, especially red and orange. And was afraid of loud noises. Human, as always, learned. They made use of its weakness and manage to subude the NIAN and subsequently slayed it.
EVeryone was overwhelmed with joy upon the victory and celebrated that day for 15 straight days!
Nonetheless, exactly 365 days later, another NEW NIAN came suddenly. Knowing its weakness, people from tribes were able to quickly kill it before it can do any harm. The victory was celebrated upon once again.
From then on, human noticed a cycle of the NIAN. It lay its young before going down town to hunt (but was immediately killed). The young, need exactly 365 days before it can fully mature and lay its young once more... (the cycle goes on and on).
That was why every 365 days, everyone wore red and lit fire crackers to celebrate the slaying of the NEW NIAN and that was why it is called the Xin NIAN!!
.....................
I blurted out the word NIAN, during lunch at can 14, when i noticed i was the only one wearing bright shirt for the past two days in the kanza group, the rest were wearing black and gray. Then MAG turned to me and asked,'what is a nian?"
Sinyee , who was sitting beside her, and i were shocked. And i told mag the story. (excluding the reproduction part)
She vaguely rmbed hearing the story before.
Joel, who was sitting at the far side of the table and couldnt hear us, asked,'What are you talking about?"
It was around that time when we realised JOEL never heard of the NIAN story and i had to tell him once again.
Being the first class gpa 5.0, it was his nature to be skeptical. "Then how come it is called XIN nian?when you are supposed to kill the old nian?"

plagiarize: peichun
I really feel this is worth the suing from jh for stealing her ideas
plagiarize from jh's blog:
I was bored, and doing a random search on google "peichun 6a'98" and i found some treasure! this guy one year my senior (6a'97) actually went back to the old school compound to take some pictures. n coincidentally, this guy was my classmate's crush when we were in primary 5! so cute.. haha~ some left comments saying that the compound is now haunted (people love to say compounds are haunted as long as they have been left empty for a few years) but the farniest one was this guy from my batch who left a comment reminding us of the "Block B ghost story"! *memories*'

this picture is my favourite. it's the metal stairs behind the music room. it's supposed to lead to the commerce room, but that door's always locked. so kids like us, with lots of creative juice flowing from within, used that flight of stairs to play scissors paper stone. lol~ the winner gets to climb one step up each round and the first to reach the top wins. (although no prizes for that)
So there u were while i was a the basketball court playing catching! no wonder didnt see you around. haha

that's the sports hall, where i used to play my favourite game of volley!!! as i see this picture, i also suddenly recall that i dreamt of waikit yesterday night. lol~ we were in the sports hall, although i cant remember what we were doing in my dream. and the sports hall is also the prefects' favourite hangout! we'd always stay behind and pretend to lock the gates while the rest of the school would move to the main hall for assembly. then we'd just stay in the hall for the whole of assembly and play! what bad kids we were... tsk tsk..haha... I always used to dream of this area and the area opposite. At this sports hall, i met ultraman, xena and spiderman in respective dreams...
this is the stationery shop, where i used to buy lots of stickers and cute pencils. haha~ and right opposite it was a mini farm, where the school cleaners kept chickens and ducks. we always loved to go there during recess time to feed them.
When back a few years ago and found a note from the stationery shop auntie: hello children! auntie is not working here anymore, please be good and stud hard.

somehow i feel that this picture looks very eerie. for what reason, i dont know. anyway, this is the cleaners' room, where the cleaners would have their meals and breaks. this was also the place where they kept spare uniforms. so whenever we got our uniforms stained, whether it was from the chicken wings from the canteen or from period (lol~), we'd come here and get a spare uniform to change into. the cleaners stuff all the uniforms into that cabinet, and the spare uniforms totally stink.
this is the "secret path" to the playground!!! the gate right at the end of this corridor leads to the playground. cant believe we actually queued up (note: in an orderly manner) for the two swings. there was even this informal rule (unfounded) which restricts everyone to swing one hundred swings, and then he/she has to come down and let the next person play. The furtest end was my classroom. I remembered during pya when one of the twins clement (the other is jason) fell in the playground had injured his foreheard. He was sent to hospital and had stitches.

this is the fish pond! alwayz been very dirty. so nothing new in this pic. dirty as ever. cos I used to litter in the pond, to feed the fish ma.

the school hall! there used to be this stretch of black-and-white pictures on marble slabs fitted at the back of this hall. the kids always scare one another by saying that there were corpses behind those marble slabs. what crap. lol~ to think i actually believed it when i was younger.
memories! wish i could go back to bp and take some of these pictures as well. at least i'd have something to look at and reminisce the good old days.

Law of diminishing returns
Everyone in my course agreed to what i said.
"if I put in the same amount of effort that we are using to study during this semester for A level, O level and PSlE combined. I wonder how many hundreds As i can easily obtain already."
The effort has been put in, but there bound to be something that happened during the paper itself and everything become so horrible. Either something that was never seen before popped out or there was no time to complete the paper or I just mess up everything.
Seriously, I dont have the sense of satisfactory after my core papers.
So far, the only paper i'm statisfied with is econs. A pity that it will not be counted to my results.
The effort is not proportional to the results!
wenchuan said that it is the law of diminishing returns.
Meaning, for every additional amount of labour u put in the productivity will increase but not as much as before. To a point that there will be no increase of productivity even if u add more labour.
Y=A f(L,K,H,..)
So we should now invest on other stuff.
I've invested in a new calculator...
What else can i do?
Shengxiang said he work smart and not work hard.
Though i didnt say straight into his face, but i feel that its just an excuse for not doing well.
I believe almost everyone in uni are all working smart and hard.
In fact, NONE of my friends in my course take part in any CCA
"What do u normally do everyday," I once asked everyone.
"STudy!"
I'm sticking to my canoe polo for sure. It has a part to play in achieving my dreams.
As the days of exams gone by, I'm starting to forget my main goal and reason why i am taking this course. On top of that, why am I pushing myself so hard for.
It now becoming studying for the sake of studying and not to fail... this is just so wrong.
I'll push myself alittle more during next semester, but in a different approach. Lets hope ill have the satisfaction i'm looking for...hmm.. how come education dont have satisfaction guaranttee?

I'm crazy but not stupid...
I underestimated the subject mass energy balance. It took me way longer than i expected, ending up having to crash so much information into me in a day.
The entire day of studying this subject is strainuous, and i found myself talking to myself, doing funny actions, making weird noises from time to time.
My friends said its normal for uni people to be like that.
But then, who says that i'm normal? All my closest friends say im weird...
Seriously, if i've put in this effort for my A level, i bet i can easily get several scholarships to some country far far away.
..............................................
I've eaten cockroaches, cleaned maggots, played with spiders and beetles.
Still, nothing can compare when it comes to lizards. They are just disgustingly disgusting.
If its at home, i would have screamed my lungs out whenever i see one. The entire family knows that.
In hall, i've always been trying my best to contained my excitement. If i have to scream everytime i see one in hall, I'm very sure that they will chase me out of hall 6 due to the severe noise pollution i would have create.
It all started during canoe polo training last friday, when jx felt something in his boat.
"ah ha! there you are!"he exclaimed, softly beside me, picking up a struggling lizards from his boat with his bare hand.
My eyes widened, not daring to make a sound. I knew if i open my mouth, i will be screaming. And of course, guys shouldnt be screaming upon the sight of lizards should they? It will be so wrong...
Before i could row myself far far away from him. He already flinged it away and guess what? it climbed onto my boat instead.
I immediately shook my boat from side to side hopeing it would be washed away, but the higher the water was, the higher the lizard climbed. I looked away from time to time, it was after all canoe polo training and instructions was given at the same time. Then when i glance back, the lizard disappeared.
Praying that it swam away, i continued with practice until zi yang splashed water at me from behind.
"theres a bug on ur life vest,"he said, trying to be helpful. "hey wait! its a lizard!"
"oh no!"i thought...
"its climbing into ur shirt," he continued, " faster capsize to wash it away!"
I felt so dirty even after so many capsize and rolls. The lizard was no where to be found, lets hope it didnt cling onto me...

what's that smell ??
"Haiz, another long boring lecture," i told myself, making myself comfortable, upon the start of the Physical chemistry lecture this morning.
IT was at the exact moment when the lecturer started to speak that i started sensing something different. I hence studied around my area, scrutinizing every single possible place where the stench came from.
"Did you smell something horrible?" I asked jockbiao, who was sitting two seats away from me, in the hopes that some stranger around the area overheard my enquiry and would be kind enough to quench my curiosity.
"Dont purposely..." he replied, thinking that i was trying to criticise something about him.
Just as i was trying to explain myself, at the corner of my eyes, i finally spotted the source of that disgusting stench.
REalise that this guy actually removed his shoes during lecture. And if you look at it carefully, you can see that there are no socks at all !!
To think that he was actually sitting just in front of me.
I spent the entire 1 hr lecture covering my mouth to breath cos changing another seat was not an option since there are none availble.
Looking at the bright side, because of that smell, i wasnt able to accidentally fall asleep.
Let us hold hands and pray that this guy doesnt purposely induce his stinky feet to keep himself awake during lectures.

你没资格跟我斗
大学的生活的确是很精彩
心里早已知道这种生活可望不可求
但一直以来还是想硬着头皮的去追求。
Life in the university can be truly exciting,
Eventhough i knew deep down that such a life is never meant to be mine
I've always been straining myself to take on everything
我,腾达并非等闲之辈。但怎么说也是凡人一个。这梦寐以求的生活就当我无福消受。
I am never anything ordinary
Nonetheless, I am still human.
There are some things that are never meant to be mine.
被这学科蹂躏的学友并不少,
看到他们失落的表情,
让我不禁露出阴冷的奸笑。
仿佛这就是凯旋的序幕。。。
There are many who have already been trumbled over by the stempede commonly known as Study.
Looking at their disheartenment,
I unconsciously bursted out a sinister laughter,
as if i have already triumph.
好胜的本性谁没有?
Who are not competitive in nature?
尽管如此,他们不是我的对手。。。
他们没有资格跟我斗, 也没怎么能耐
Nevertheless, they are not who i'm fighting with
they are not qualified nor they have the capability.
那些有资格的朋友,
就让我瞧瞧你有多大的本事。。。
For those who are qualified,
let me see what you have got...
My power is based on the starlight, yet it is exactly the same thing im going against...
(ps. those who know me well will know writing such post is just to make me feel better)

As of today, i've offically promoted Nicolas from status FAN to status AIRCON!
*clap clap clap!!

我是我 i am myself
不听算命的结果
不问别人的星座
不让谁来打扰我
我的快乐自己懂
Never listen to the results of the fortune teller
Never ask the horoscope of others
Never let anyone to bother me
My happiness I know it myself
Fell in love with this song the first time i heard it few yrs ago. Love this song is because of its lyrics. It is just so my style.
Even though at times, i might joke abt how fate is sealed. I always and firmly believe that our destiny is controlled by ourselves.
(this leads me to the story of Luinshision which im planning to write very soon)
That goes the same for horoscope. We dont need a piece of readings from the newspaper to know what to expect for today, or to see how are we supposed to behave or how we are compatitble with others....
Nonetheless, Alice teo once told me that there are basis on such horoscope things. That made me wonder at times...
Looking at my friends list. I realised that there are quite alot of people i dont feel comfortable with who are born during feb to april...
Where as im very close with people who are born during june, july, august, november and december...
-------------------------------------------------
Talking about coincidence,
I just realised a few today.
I've got to know a friend from my orientation group. His name is Weijie. And those who knew my friend wee keat (whom i always mention), whose name in chinese is also weijie.
Both just so happen to have the same birthday, August 26th. Well... will be busy running half marathon then. Unless he invited me out personally for something. I will NOT be bothered to sent him any greetings... ...
Jieying and Guiling shared the same birthday as well. Nonetheless, these two girls are worlds apart.
During the paddles at marina bay today, i got to know a lady named, Edwina Cheng... and i notice some similarities between her and my number one fan,EDWIN CHENG. Especially with the spectacles and stuff....even the tone of their voices... oh my...Are they biologically related???
If i had my phone with me, i would have taken a picture of her!!!

First week of offical uni life
Seriously, this is nothing to be proud of.
If he hears this, i know he will definitely jump out from his tomb, point at me and laugh.
Making fun of me on my big talks of being determined and stuff...
For all the past lectures, i've been sleeping throughout.
Been finding excuses such as the post-hall camp syndrome, too many commitments. (eventhough im seriously very tired to concentrate)
Then keep on comforting myself by saying,'i sleep, i dont understand; you didnt sleep also dont understand! might as well sleep lor!'
Shame on me... but for some reasons i find it really hard to concentrate during the main term than the special term. Too many source of distractions.... (excuses??)
Some of the friends i've met in uni has moved onto the badminton stage!
To those who know me well, i only invite close friends of mine to go play badminton. (and its because of badminton that we became close friends)
They include qian qian (and roomie, ester), kaijie (and roomie vincent), elaine and soon yan who are each other's roomie. Most of them i barely known them for 2 weeks! Its a pity that my roomie isnt that sporty type, else i will have bring him down as well!
I will catch up on the lessons slept this weekend and will NOT sleep in class EVER !!. (oh my.. who am i kidding)
======================
Tml is national day.
Happy national Day!
I'll bring that totally uncool national day econ friendly shopping bag down to school on fri!

Set back
Met up with my first set back in ntu yesterday, and i'm not happy about it.
Seriously, no one will be.
Once again, i've spend the entire night in denial stage, trying to avoid thinking about it by sleeping through it.
Its so unjust.
Some slacker put in the minimal effort for the same modules during another semester got the same result as me.
I had the determination, and had put in all the necessary effort. This is just not right. Intelligence? you must be joking.
When i had finally figured out that the root of the problem is poor strategising, it even made me feel worst.
I am a manipulative person in nature who thinks steps ahead before doing my things. Really, it is an insult for me to be overlooking some important aspects in the game.
Looking at the bright side, at least from now on, i know exactly where to go and what to do.
Oh my, this is such a costly lesson

Neighbour next door
I suppose all my fans must be dying to find out how my place looks like right?
Actually, i've taken some photos when i first got in here. Just that i'm too lazy to dl the pics to the comp

Toilets and Tv are just round the corner...

This is the door of my neighbour

My table

The cat which kelvin invited in. Currently its officially adopted by our neighbours. It likes to eat cakes, but not durian puffs

This is the blind that "left one cannot pull down, right side cannot pull up, center one can pull up and down but this rod is broken.."

The nest i was telling the whole world about.... Lucky father came in to clear it away the 2nd day...

Facing west

Facing east

Marketing mindmap

Oh have i mentioned that we went to the pc show today?
the left is zhang yi, kelvin and guangbo on the right....

So far the furthest i've interacted with was room 634, kian xing who is living alone cos he roomy is on overseas attachment. Kian xing is malaysian. Not only is he super smart , but also very sporty as well. Its seriously really hard to find someone who has both brains and brawns like me nowadays.
Time to sleep...

GO to SLEEP!
Despite my conditioning to sleep less during the past months, I'm still cannot handle the strain of having less sleep, especially my schedule has always be very tied and strenous. So much so its taking its toll when i completely shut down.
Pei, someone whom i bearly know, told me to go back early to sleep. It was 1015pm then.
"haha, cannot lah, have to go back home to study!"i replied.
This is so typical of me to force myself to do things.
Pyscho lecture today. telling us about how impt is sleep...
... and i fell asleep during the lecture for a min or so...
So ok fine, i'll just increase my sleeping time by 1 hr for tonight..
(added on 2009)
Couldnt help it and took a 2 hrs nap just now. AFter eating dinner, i decided to say hi to my neighbours beside. They are from china and are awfully friendly.
Let me write down their names before i forget.
张熠 (yi)
冠博
well, its a good start.
(added on 2244)
The neighbour on the left side is a malay. He came down to say hi and we chatted for another 1.
He didn't mention his name and i'm too lazy to ask. Probably cos he pop out while i was in a mist of concentrating with my text, i don't really have the mood to speak with him...
Nonetheless, its nice to have some visitors coming over to say hi....

house warming x happy mother's day
The long awaited hall 6 house warming party has finally come!
jia cai couldn't make it due to some viral stuff which is affecting his entire family, lets hope nothing happens after 28 days...
We played table tennis and i got aquainted with another ntu yr 1 guy. Exchanged phone numbers, hopefully we will be meeting up to play again next week.
Spider man was the other highlight for the day.
I find some parts too fast. In neuroscience perceptive, the screening of the show was too fast for the information to travel from my eyes to my receptors neurons, across the synapse along the pns up to my cns which is my brain to access the information.
The director is sam. I found him amazing to climb up the entertainment ladder from being the director/producer of serial to a movie director. I loved his shows 10 yrs ago... Together with him is his brother who played a funny 2-3 mins role in the movie. Not to forget his friend, bruce campbell, who appeared in the show as well.
Got home at 6 to celebrate mother's day. Though the cake was bought my mother actually...Tot that we would be singing the 'happy mother's day'song as we did last yr, but mother insisted to sing the '世上只有妈妈好’ song and ' 天下的妈妈都是一样地’song...
Just to add on, woke up with a strange feeling of chest being very tight. I'm not surprise if i'll be like those popular cases when people died in their sleep. Perhaps its a reminder to start exercise more...

1st week
First thing first.
Just met my room mate, his name is kelvin ang.
He is NOTHING similar to what i've been fearing that i might have for a room mate over the past few months.
I just know it that i'm not that unlucky.
But as many fans rebuked, lets hope i don't scare my room mate away... haha..
Currently, my room is still quite empty. Hence, anyone who wish to donate some doorgift may do so asap to fill up my room.
First week in school was as difficult as expected. Marketing was something í'm still don't know what to expect. The concept was something new, thus it took me quite sometime to read up though i've yet to understand. Alot of catching up to do during this weekend.
Psychology is great! Especially when they are teaching about the parts of the brain. Must really thank ms fong for doing a great job in teaching bio during my sec school days, cos she conveniently added contents from jc and uni into her materials. But i shouldn't be complacent, i'll use all my advantage i have into it.
My room mate is currently studying german, made me having the urge to overload my modules to study it as well. I know i'll do well in it. For now, i'll keep that into consideration.

hall 6
I knew i will take a long time, hence i didn't have time to say hi and chit chat with zhiwei when i met him during my lunch.
With that, The search for my hall begun at 4pm after my lunch, after my lecture.
I happily took the free shuttle bus and alighted upon seeing the bus stop, hall 7.
Anyone with the right mathematical mind will understand, 6 is just before 7. Nonetheless, there are things that doesn't follow logic and things cannot be explained using science. The friendly china guy told me the place i was looking for was 4-5 bus stops away. Hence, i immediately set off without a third thought.
'Maybe the hall here are 7,8,9,'was my second thought.
Off i waited and boarded the bus and continued down a couple of bus stops.
Until i saw hall 5.
Anyone with the right mathematical (n or u )logical mind will know 6 is just after 5...
But no, hall 1 is after hall5. How's that?
I eventually found my way and started sharing my experience to the staff, whom couldnt help but to laugh and pity me for my tragic experience. Was so cartoon in the way i expressed myself.
AFter adminstration and when i've done checking the room. I reported the defects in chinese. (since my mind is now tuned to chinese mood after my trip)
"the blinds at the left cannot be pulled up, the blinds t the right cannot be released down, the blinds at the centre CAN be pulled up and released down BUT its control rod to open and close the it was broken. In addition, the handle to the window was broken."
Fengshui wise, that room wasn't that good. the main door is facing west. And its just beside the toilet. Whats more, the next few rooms beside are all china people...
Seriously, i need to have a house warming to shoo away all the negative energy from the room... anyone interested to join in this mission?
anyway, my address is Hall 6 blk 33 lvl 2 room 632.
Any stalker who has been dying to find out where i'm living can come visit me at night. Hall more convenient ma.... haha

归零出发再了解! restart!
I'll be starting school tomorrow.
Seriously, everything was in a rush especially when i just came back to Singapore yesterday. Did i mention i made a short trip to malaysia yesterday to settle some stuff? but thats another story.
Started reading up on the itinerary on the homework and course outline for the first week.
Search the internet to learn more about the recent Virginia Tech shooting where a korean student went on a rampage and killed more than 30 people in the campus. Relate it to the issue of school violence and aggression, specifically in the context of US (which may in turn highlight why countries like ours are not experiencing the same kind of problem), and try to think of the issue using the various major perspectives of psychology.I spent the past few hours reading into the incident and realised that to some extent this korean student and i had something in common. Don't worry, that doesn't mean i will go around doing what he did. IT just made me even more thankful to the people who saved me from sinking into such mental state. For sure, i'll have alot to share during tutorial....
From tomorrow onwards, i will not be online (msn and blog) so often anymore. I'll be very focus on the things that are important to me. I have so much to lose.
Finding a better blogskin is much difficult than i thought. When u find a nice picture one, the format is digusting... vice versa. Then CHWAN SOON, who promised me to make a nice nice blogskin was no where to be heard. Therefore, i had to make do with this.
The previous one about under the deep blue sea? I found it suitable for the theme i had during that period, the sea. And it also represented the cleansing of my sins from the past and the suffocating period comparable to drowning i had. Anyway, its over.
I've added a few songs. SHE's supermodel and superstar. In addition to SUn's 2 new released songs.
With renewed confidence, I'm sure i myself can become a supermodel and superstar as well...
