Post exams fun!
pre-post exam activities are expensive

post exams activites are exciting

post post exams activities are exhausting

But all will be FUn!

For fans who doesnt know which is which, let me tell you.

Post exams refers to the Family day at Hall 6 Camp.

Certainly it was fun. nonethless haven got all the pictures yet, hence must wait

Pre-post exams refers to the chilli crab eating, kbox tong xiao session and sakura buffet with coursemates! And trust me, its really expensive.

Post-post exams refers to the physical and mental exhausting activites i've planned for myself. Span across these 3 months.

Yes, since the first day of post-post exam activity had just ended (and its still fresh in my mind). I will start off with this first.

One more day

I've brought mother back to the sea. Where she belongs.

It has been something she really missed for it had been many many years since she been to the beach.

So Just two of us.

Before I realised it, i learnt alot of her stories within the span of a day than i had all my life.

I hear her stories on how she could easily swim across the sea to pulau ubin and back.
How she spent her free time in the sea with her friends despite disconsent from her grandparents.
How she could spent the entire day in the water only to forget the time and had to rush down to school at night for an important basketball match.
How she made friends with people from ubin.
how she explored the wonders of the sea at night.
How she enjoyed diving into the sea from boats and plunging into the sea from the beach.

"Its because i'm such an active person, that was why your father chase me in the first place," she said proudly.

That was the every first time I learnt something regarding how father and mother meet. The first time any of them mentioned something....
Polly at the changi beach, a guy meet a siao siao sporty lady who keep on plunging into the water and swam for the entire day.
Well, i guess this sort of likings runs in the family.

"When i was young, I always dream of having a guy to come to me and paddle with me in a boat,"she continued putting down her paddle, once again feeling sad that father didnt bring her out to play,"Oh well i didnt expect the first person who ever do so will be you...."

Then straight after paddling. We went for lunch and shop for food for picnic at downtown east.
Then we went to changi beach for a picnic!

Another Perfect Day

house warming x happy mother's day
The long awaited hall 6 house warming party has finally come!
jia cai couldn't make it due to some viral stuff which is affecting his entire family, lets hope nothing happens after 28 days...

We played table tennis and i got aquainted with another ntu yr 1 guy. Exchanged phone numbers, hopefully we will be meeting up to play again next week.

Spider man was the other highlight for the day.
I find some parts too fast. In neuroscience perceptive, the screening of the show was too fast for the information to travel from my eyes to my receptors neurons, across the synapse along the pns up to my cns which is my brain to access the information.

The director is sam. I found him amazing to climb up the entertainment ladder from being the director/producer of serial to a movie director. I loved his shows 10 yrs ago... Together with him is his brother who played a funny 2-3 mins role in the movie. Not to forget his friend, bruce campbell, who appeared in the show as well.

Got home at 6 to celebrate mother's day. Though the cake was bought my mother actually...Tot that we would be singing the 'happy mother's day'song as we did last yr, but mother insisted to sing the '世上只有妈妈好’ song and ' 天下的妈妈都是一样地’song...

Just to add on, woke up with a strange feeling of chest being very tight. I'm not surprise if i'll be like those popular cases when people died in their sleep. Perhaps its a reminder to start exercise more...

Secret Garden
My entire morning was devoted to one of the many many pots in mother's garden. According to her, the cactus are overcrowded in one pot, hence there is a need to to remove them and replant it into 2 pots.

Try sitting under the hot sun, without any proper gloves and carry heavy pots and soil from one end of the garden to another. I'm certain this is much strenuous than running a full marathon. Well, at least you dont get your hands pricked during a marathon.

There we go! From one pot into two!

And that, took us the entire morning....

For those who are w0ndering why am i sharing with you this, just let me tour you around my mother's garden.

Upon stepping into it, you will be welcomed by 3 big cactus and 1 small one on your right...

....And 10 more on your left!..

...THese are when you are too lazy to lift up your head. If you rise your head slighly higher... u will be seeing this...

Lets make a count shall we.. hmm.. 14 pots.. Out of which, 12 pots are MORE cactus..

k k... lets just take a break from all those cactus...

easily, there are at least 20 associated plants lying around. Of couse, the only plant here i know is the aloe vera...Anyone who know the names of the other plants may share ur knowledge.

Enough of break? lets continue with cactusing at the far end... That will add another 25 more pots...

All right then, lets account for the strength:.. 75??
i remembered that there were more than 100 when i last counted it few years ago...

To think i'm assisting my mother for just one plant..And she was the one handling with the rest of the 74... look whose the one having more stamina...
--------------------------------------------
I suddenly remembered that i told weicai that i'll pierce my ears IF and ONLY IF someone gave me earrings so as not to waste the gift. Other than that, its a no no. For some reasons, i'm dont think i've made the right move by making such a promise....

---------------------------------------------

This is the Siam kitchen's meal we had! It is really filling and i really enjoyed the meal. Best of all, it only cost $20 something.
